The Norwegian women continued their perfect road to the 2011 World Cup this afternoon, utterly crushing Macedonia by a score of 14-0 on March 27. Forward Isabel Herlovsen tied a national record, scoring six goals herself. Lene Mykjåland and Lisa-Marie Woods each scored twice, while Trine Rønning, Ingvild Stensland, Cecilie Pedersen, and Lise Klaveness scored one each.
On March 30, they travelled to Belarus, and beat them soundly by the score of 5-0. Five different players scored: Anneli Giske, Lise Klaveness, Isabell Herlovsen, Lene Mykjåland and Solveig Gulbrandsen.
Norway sit atop their qualification group, undeated with 23 goals scored, and 0 goals surrendered. Norway will continue their run to the 2011 World Cup in June, when they face the Netherlands, and the return match against Belarus.
