Each team will divide itself into two squads, which will then each play the two squads of an opposing team in two simultaneous, side-by-side games of 4v4. The games will primarily take place on our Super-Small-Sided Fields (either 4A or 4B), with one game on each half, using portable Pugg goals. Games will consist of 4 quarters of 12 minutes each. A size 3 ball is to be used.
Coaches are permitted to modify the above slightly to address needs specific to game-day. For example, if fewer players show up, games can be reduced from 4v4 to 3v3, or teams can lend players to their opponents, etc. The game format should not be changed to increase the number of players on the field, however, as that serves to reduce the amount of time on the ball for each player, which is more important than time on the field.
