All games will be played 9v9 (8 field players and 1 goalkeeper), and will take place on our Small-Sided Fields (3, 5, 6 or 7). Games will consist of 4 quarters of 15 minutes each. A size 4 ball is to be used.
Coaches are permitted to modify the above slightly to address needs specific to game-day. For example, if fewer players show up, teams can play 8v8, or lend players to their opponents, or the time of each quarter can be reduced, etc. The game format should not be changed to increase the number of players on the field, however, as that serves to reduce the amount of time on the ball for each player, which is more important than time on the field.
