Continuing Monday March 29th: U7-U12 Rec UK Elite Academy Training
There will be U7/U8 (5:45 pm - 6:45 pm) and U10/U12 (7:00 pm - 8:00 pm) UK Elite Academy training sessions on Mondays (turf field A).
Sessions will focus on Elite Feet, Goalscoring, Passmaster or PACE as detailed in the UK Elite Training Content Spring 2010.

MONDAY:
Academy (U7/U8): Each week U7 and U8 Rec players (girls & boys) will have an opportunity to improve various aspects of their game. At each session, players will be split into four groups focusing on PACE, Passmaster, Elite Feet or Goalscoring training with the content outlined below:
PACE (power, acceleration, coordination & explosiveness):
- Week 1 (3/29/10): Hoop Work
- Week 2 (4/5/10): Straight-line running
- Week 3 (4/12/10): Arm work
- Week 4 (4/19/10): Leg work
- Week 5 (4/26/10): Diagonal running
- Week 6 (5/3/10): Agility
- Week 7 (5/10/10): Speed Circuit
- Week 8 (5/17/10): Recap
- Week 1 (3/29/10): Goalscoring
- Week 2 (4/5/10): Shooting
- Week 3 (4/12/10): Breakaways
- Week 4 (4/19/10): Shooting-2
- Week 5 (4/26/10): Combinations
- Week 6 (5/3/10): Numbers Up
- Week 7 (5/10/10): Back to Goal
- Week 8 (5/17/10): Breakaway
Elite Feet Technical Program-Technique for the 1 v 1 attacking duel:
- Designed to improve the art of individual skill. Each session includes:
· Elite Feet move (e.g. inside/outside, scissors, L-turn, Ronaldinho).
· Technical circuits to improve dribbling skills.
· 1 v 1 activities to practice new skills.
· Various conditioned, followed by free, scrimmages.
· General outline of sessions provided to VP Boys/Girls Rec. Actual implementation will be dependent on UK Elite trainers.
Pass-Master:
- Program implements concepts from the Dutch philosophy of Total Soccer and will improve players passing, receiving and movement.
