Dynamo Wins Final Game 2-0
What a way to end the regular season. "Chewy, Matt P, and the D" played "lights out" again and stopped every scoring opportunity that came their way. The Dynamo brought their A game to Franklin and won 2-0 on goals by Pat and Jason and a great assist by Amani. All the boys contributed to the win as superior teamwork was on display.
The boys showed they could play with the best teams in the division and should be confident heading into the Spring season.
Thrilling Match Ends in Tie
3-3 Final for Dynamo and Summit
The Dynamo played to a 3-3 tie against high-scoring Summit, continuing their streak of playing each team better the second time around. Early in the game, the team fell behind 2-0. But in the second half, the boys caught fire and scored three straight goals taking a 3-2 lead, while "Chewy and the D" played shut-down defense. Only a late goal by Summit prevented the Dynamo from coming home with a win.
"The team played at the highest level they have all season" said one of the Dynamo faithful. "They controlled the game and could have easily won it against the highest scoring team in the division". Amani had two goals and Jason one in the game.
The team is now 3-4-2 and looking for a win in the final game to finish at 0.500.
Dynamo Drops a Close One
3-2 Loss on Penalty Kick
"We Wuz Robbed" was the fans’ cry as the game ended 3-2 in Flemington’s favor. A late questionable call resulted in a direct penalty kick by the opponent. The game was well fought and tight as the Dynamo matched Flemington’s first two goals with a convincing goals by Connor and Amani. A hand should also go out to the "guys in the trenches" - our fearless defense keeps the team in every game. Brandon, Benny, Ryan F, Matt T, John, and Matt P kept the Dynamo in this one as well.
The Dynamo look to end the season on a high note as they play their last two games. But win or lose, the boys have been showing great confidence this season. Let’s Go Dynamo!
Dynamo Takes 7v7 Match
Team Wins in Shootout at SoccerAcademy
The Dynamo traveled to the BobSmithSoccerAcademy and beat Manalapan 4-2 in a fun indoor scrimmage. Great passing was the key as the boys dominated the match. The onslaught of shots produced four goals - two by Pat, and one each by Sahil and Stelly. Our defense played tough as usual. The only problem? It ended too soon.

Dynamo Ties Division Leader Branchburg
The Dynamo showed their stuff again this weekend tying Branchburg 1-1. EB came out early with a goal by Jason assisted by Andrew and Patrick, but Branchburg came back and tied the score with a nice goal of their own. It was a hard-fought match with very solid play on both sides.
At 3-3-1, it is probably necessary to win at least 2 out of the final 3 games to have a chance at 1st place in the division. But win or lose, the boys have shown dramatic improvement and the ability to keep up intensity for the whole game.

On a gorgeous day, the team traveled north for their rematch. The first half was close and ended scoreless. However, in the second half, both Gabriel and Sahil scored heads up goals to take the game. The opponents attempted to mount a comeback, but a complete team effort produced the shutout.
Chewy once again shut the other team down with an incredible 2 stops on direct penalty kicks. These stops should have made ESPN’s top ten plays, but got bumped by a few silly touchdowns and pennant-clinching plays.

Sahil scored with an assist by Jason, and then Jason went on to seal the game with the team’s 3rd goal. Solid play from Stelly, Connor, Andrew, Gabriel, and Matt P, ensured that Franklin didn’t get back into the game.

As one Dynamo fan re-capped the match, "It was a little bit of a crazy game - two yellow cards and the refs missed two Branchburg hand balls in the 18, which would have given the Dynamo two direct kicks".

Ryan F. and John stepped up big time on defense and along with gutsy goalkeeping from Matt T., stifled Ridgefield’s attacks again and again.
The boys should be proud of the way they played this weekend against some of the best teams that they have ever faced. Three out of the four matches were lost by only a goal! They have every reason to start the regular season with confidence.
