Dynamo Plays Flemington to a 1-1 Tie
Draw Gives Dynamo Share of 1st Place

On Sunday, the short-handed Dynamo tied their arch-rival Flemington. With only one sub, nobody got more than a short rest. In the first half, good passing led to a Dynamo goal as Matt P scored on an assist by Patrick.

Flemington responded later in the half with a penalty kick that somehow found its way into the goal. Chewy was perfect otherwise as he did not let up a goal during regular play.

A scoreless second half led to the 1-1 final.

The Dynamo are now tied for 1st place (with Flemington). They also have the most goals scored and the least goals allowed in the division, certainly something to be proud of.

But the season is young and the boys will have to be more dangerous around the goal if they want to stay in 1st place. One avid Dynamaniac said "if they learn how to use the width of the field and become more opportunistic around the goal, then their opponents will have a lot of sleepless nights".

Next up - Hopewell Valley. So far, they have lost to Flemington 2-1 and beat Cranford 1-0.

We will be playing at Washington Crossing where George Washington and his men, severely undermanned, famously crossed the Delaware River to confront, and ultimately defeat the British forces in a war that changed the course of history. All we’re asking for is a win. Do it for your country!!!
