Dynamo Stages Thrilling Comeback Victory vs Cranford
4-2 Win Becomes Instant Classic

Like a boxer who's still standing, but against the ropes in the 10th round, the Dynamo found themselves down 2-0 midway through the 2nd half. It looked like the undefeated streak would be broken. And then a barrage of punches left the opponent wobbling, while the team dealt the final KO.

All great teams have their defining moments and this was it for the Dynamo. It seemed like the years of hard work and training all came together at the right time. Instead of accepting the loss, the boys found a way to win. That is the first step towards greatness.

Cranford started the game with a quick goal. While the Dynamo had several chances at the goal, it just did not work out for them. The Dynamaniacs were hopeful that the team would come out strong in the second half, but Cranford struck again going up 2-0 while showing they could be very efficient with their opportunities. It was looking grim as the fans started hoping for a possible tie.

And then it happened...

Patrick, playing very scrappy, scored on an assist from Jason. Maybe there was hope. Then a couple of minutes later, Ryan F, running on all pistons, pounded in the tying goal. The team swarmed Ryan while the Dynamaniacs went crazy on the sidelines. Moments later, Benny crossed the ball in front of the goal. It ricocheted off Pat and ended up on Matt P's foot and then promptly into the goal.

Now the team and the fans were running on a pure emotional high. Riding that wave, Sahil put the nail in the coffin, scoring the 4th and final goal. It was a total team effort. Everyone contributed to the win.

As the game ended, the Dynamo had put an exclamation point on their best weekend to date. The team and coaching staff will try to use the momentum this weekend as they face Parsippany away.

Gotta go now - it's time to exhale.
