EBSC’s Heather O’Reilly is a Olympic gold medalist! Heather and her US National Team teammates won the gold medal game showdown with Brazil in Beijing, winning a thrilling game 1-0 on an extra time goal by a fellow New Jersey girl, Delran’s Carli Lloyd from Rutgers University.
Heather, who went on to star at East Brunswick High School and the University of North Carolina, was playing in her 100th game for the US National Team. Heather played her usual intense, hard-working game from her outside midfield position.
