The East Brunswick Soccer Club mourns the passing of Bob Berndt, a former president of the EBSC. Mr. Berndt, 71, passed away on March 23. A long-time resident of East Brunswick, he was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, who passed away in 2008; his parents, Adolph and Pauline Berndt; his brother, Adolph R. Berndt; and his sister, Pauline Harris. He is survived by his son, Robert J. Berndt and his daughter Margaret Berndt Loftus, both of East Brunswick; his two sisters, Madeline Wasielewski of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Doris LeMay of Hazlet; and his nephew, Stanley Wasielewski of Seminole, Fla.
